In 1963, for intermediate and secondary institutions, control, supervision, control and development of Intermediate and Secondary Education Board (BSEC), Bangladesh was established in Bangladesh in 1963 by an Ordinance (East Pakistan Ordinance No. 23 of 1961). . In Jessore, started in 1963, there were only four (greater) districts, namely Khulna, Jessore, Barisal and Kushtia, which had only 20 colleges and 508 schools.
